420 (cannabis culture)

420 (cannabis culture)

420, 4:20, or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) is primarily a term used in North America and refers to the consumption of cannabis and, by extension, a way to identify oneself with cannabis subculture. Observances based on the number include the time (4:20 pm) as well as the date (April 20).

The earliest use of the term began among a group of teenagers in San Rafael, California in 1971. Calling themselves the Waldos, because "their chosen hang-out spot was a wall outside the school," the group first used the term in connection to a fall 1971 plan to search for an abandoned cannabis crop that they had learned about. The Waldos designated the Louis Pasteur statue on the grounds of San Rafael High School as their meeting place, and 4:20 pm as their meeting time. The Waldos referred to this plan with the phrase "4:20 Louis". Multiple failed attempts to find the crop eventually shortened their phrase to simply "4:20", which ultimately evolved into a codeword that the teens used to mean pot-smoking in general.
High Times editor Steven Hager wrote "Are You Stoner Smart or Stoner Stupid?" in which he called for 4:20 pm to be the socially accepted hour of the day to consume cannabis. He attributes the early spread of the phrase to Grateful Dead followers, who were also linked to the city of San Rafael.

VoIP ( Voice over Internet Protocol

VoIP
Voice over IP

Coming rich in features, VoIP phones or Voice over Internet Protocol telephone systems are also diverse and handy in setting up, there are a number of compatible set ups each having their own advantage to suit every need of any businesses today leaving traditional phones trailing behind.
Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) - ATA is a simple jack that allows you to connect your existing telephone handset to your computer or directly to an internet connection, the unit works by converting the analog signal from your traditional handsets to digital forms that can be transmitted over the cloud through your VoIP carriers. The ATA set up basically plug and play, the easy steps requires almost no configuration and lets you enjoy VoIP calls with very acceptable quality.
VoIP Handsets - VoIP phones or IP phone systems typically look like a traditional telephone, the handset lets you connect directly to an IP network without the use of computers and or adapters, the IP phones are fitted with all the required software and hardware needed to make high quality VoIP calls. Most IP handsets come really handy, most with LED displays, programmable buttons, call history, speaker phone, multiple Ethernet ports for multiple VoIP lines and SIP registration ready.
This set up is often preferred by businesses because of the programmability, access to multiple lines and the convenience of not having to plug it on a computer.
Virtual Phones - or soft phones are computer based IP phones, that doesn't require any hardware except for a headset with microphone. You just need to download a soft phone over the internet which is normally provided by your IP service company, use the log in provided with your subscription and you are ready to go.
Virtual phone is the cheapest set available in the market today; it also enables you to make pc to pc based calls with no charge at all! Call quality will be dependent on your internet connection and the quality of your headset. A USB headset is often the first choice because of the noise cancellation features and anti static features.
Mobile based - Mobile based IP phones are perfect if you are always on the go but it will require you to have OS based mobile phones for application compatibility which will still run through an internet connection either via Wi-Fi or 3g services of your carrier. Some IP providers will let you make access your subscription to make call on your mobile via the mobile app. Like pc based soft phones, mobile to mobile soft phone calls are free.
Generally whichever set up you choose, VoIP services will cut your phone bills by more than 50% while enjoying more features and benefits.
David Clarkson is a well versed telecommunication engineer with years of background in the industry, In his experience the demand of structuring internal and external communications
for small to large scale businesses was perfectly solved by cloud pabx technology and has recommended it since then.

Dates Benefits

Dates Benefits

Eating dates in the morning on an empty stomach kills intestinal worms and other parasites

Eating dates has great benefits which can be illustrated as follows:

Prevents Cancer: Dates are very nutritious and contain natural fibers. Modern medicine has shown that they are effective in preventing abdominal cancer. In general Bedouin Arabs, who eat them on a regular basis, show an extremely low incidence rate of cancer.
Weak heart: Dates are an excellent remedy for weak heart. Dates soaked overnight should be taken twice a week which strengthens the heart.
Bedouin Arabs who regularly consume dates have shown an extremely low rate of heart disease.

Treatment for Obesity: The wide variety of nutritious elements in dates makes it hunger-resistive! So treatment by eating few dates when feeling hungry helps reduce hunger and be filled. These dates will provide the body with the necessary sugar and stimulate the intestine which reduce hunger greatly, and eventually, reduce food consumption.

Eases child-birth: Eating dates eases the pain of childbirth. Scientifically they are known to contain hormones which strengthen the uterus, help produce milk for nursing mothers and also prevent blood loss after childbirth. (The ripe fruit contains a substance that urges uterine spasms and increases contractions especially in the time of delivery. This substance resembles 'oxytocin' that is secreted by pituitary gland, which encourages contractions of the uterus. Dates contain some stimulants which strengthen the muscles of the uterus in the last months of pregnancy. This helps the dilation of the uterus at the time of delivery and reduces post-natal bleeding).

Ideal for breast-feeding mothers: Dieticians consider dates the best food for breast-feeding mothers. This is because dates contain elements that assist in alleviating depression and enrich the breast milk with the nutrients needed to make the child healthy and resistant to disease.

Bones: Calcium is important for strong bones so this is an additional benefit that dates provide. As dates are rich in calcium, they contribute to healthy bones. For this reason it is recommended that children and older adults, especially women, eat plenty of dates to strengthen their bones.
Modern science has also proved the effectiveness of dates, in preventing diseases of the respiratory system.

Intestinal Disturbances: Eating dates in the morning on an empty stomach kills intestinal worms and other parasites, for dates have an antidotal potency which restrains their growth. According to Metchnikoff, a great Russian scientist, liberal use of dates keeps in check the growth of pathological organisms and helps to establish a colony of friendly bacteria in the intestines.

Improves Eye sight: Dates are also important in maintaining good vision and are effective in guarding against night-blindness.

Cures constipation: Dates are also highly beneficial in the treatment of constipation as the roughage provided by it stimulates sluggish bowels. They should be immersed in water at night and taken after making them into fine syrup the next morning to secure laxative effect.

Remedy for Sexual Debility: Date syrup can be used as a treatment for weak heart. It can also be use for the treatment of sexual weakness. When it's mixed with milk and honey, dates can be used as a tonic for the treatment of sexual disturbances for both sexes. And such syrup strengthens the body and raises its energy levels. The elderly would benefit from this syrup too. It improves their stamina and purges their bodies from the toxins that have accumulated in their cells along the years.

Remedy for Liver and Inflammations: Dates remedy Lever and purge it from toxins, Breaking the fast with dates, is one of the most magnificent of natural remedies for the maintenance and purging the Lever from accumulated toxins. And also drinking dates juice could be used in the treatment of sore throat, various types of fever, rhinorrhia and common cold.

Remedy for Intoxication: Dates are an excellent remedy for alcoholic intoxication. In such a case, drinking water in which fresh dates have been rubbed or soaked will bring quick relief

Don't stop from being the best person you can be

Pic and Comment

That's true.don't let anyone's ignorance, hate, drama or negativity stop you from being the best person you can be and i will tell true story happens with me :-

One day I was standing in the Metro and found a bottle lying in the ground and someone sitting next to me and there who stands next to me did not move one to pick up the empty bottle I do not know who threw it on the ground so I did pick them up in my hands until i reached my destination and put it in the trash basket of Metro station
Strange that everyone was looking at me with amazement and I'm already embarrassed, but in my view see that this work is beautiful and wonderful and I walked proud of myself.

So do what it deems useful and appropriate.

akira yoshizawa's 101st birthday - origami art

Origami
is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which started in the 17th century AD at the latest and was popularized outside of Japan in the mid-1900s. It has since then evolved into a modern art form. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of material into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami. Paper cutting and gluing is usually considered kirigami
The number of basic origami folds is small, but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. The best known origami model is probably the Japanese paper crane. In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be different colors or prints. Traditional Japanese origami, which has been practiced since the Edo era (1603–1867), has often been less strict about these conventions, sometimes cutting the paper or using nonsquare shapes to start with
The principles of origami are also being used in stents, packaging and other engineering structures

Helen Adams Keller

Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deafblind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.[1][2] The story of how Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan, broke through the isolation imposed by a near complete lack of language, allowing the girl to blossom as she learned to communicate, has become widely known through the dramatic depictions of the play and film The Miracle Worker. A prolific author, Keller was well-traveled, and was outspoken in her opposition to war. A member of the Socialist Party of America and the Wobblies, she campaigned for women's suffrage, workers' rights, and socialism, as well as many other leftist causes. She was inducted into the Alabama Women's Hall of Fame in 1971
